Abstract: This research has the objective of exploring the fanclip genre in the context of the multiliteracies, highlighting the importance of multisemiotic production and analysis for the process of student formation. Such is justified by the advent of digital media as well as the need for teachers to update themselves in relation to new educational challenges. Thus, authors such as Jenkins (2009), Machado (2000), Rojo (2009), and Soares (2004), besides BNCC (2018), are brought to the debate. The methodology is composed by: bibliographical research regarding Multiliteracy Theory and the fanclip genre; and the analysis of the fanclip’s frames created by one of the authors. As result, contributions were found related to teaching training based on multiliteracies; possible production of fanclips by students; the reading and analysis of fanclips for the discussion of social theme.
