Abstract: Quantum resource theories play a central role in quantum information processing. In particular, quantum coherence and entanglement are resources for applications in quantum technologies, such as quantum communication and information. In recent decades, their implementation in solid-state devices has received considerable attention due to the fact that semiconductor nanostructures such as quantum dots and double quantum dots are promising candidates for physical implementation of quantum processing information. In this work, we study the behavior of a system of a single electron system confined in a double quantum dot where the ground state energies of each quantum dot can be different due to the difference in level ε. Additionally, the quantum dots are subjected to a homogeneous magnetic field , Bz, and a inhomogeneous transverse magnetic field , Bx, perpendicular to Bz. We study the energy diagrams, the thermal populations and the thermal correlations of the model.
