Abstract: | This article seeks to develop two expressions taken from the interpretative reading proposed by Franklin Leopoldo e Silva about the philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre. These are the notions of “communicating neighborhood” and “ethical resonance”. At first, we want to discuss the meaning of the philosopher having used different expressive modalities to convey his thought. Then, we want to indicate that the human situation makes our actions inescapable from an ethical horizon and perspectives. Therefore, we will investigate the impact of phenomenology on Sartre’s intellectual trajectory and the controversial concept of engagement. We will see that the phenomenology plays a decisive role in Sartre’s reworking of philosophy, taken now in existencial register and not only epistemological, and also in the construction of a literature capable of echoing the drama and concreteness of the lived experience. |
