| Resumo: | Plant species of genus Cecropia are popularly known in Brazil by name of embaúbas, and are recognized as very attractive trees for birds due to the supply of food. The hybrid embaúba (Cecropia glaziovi x Cecropia hololeuca) is used in gardens, however, there are still no studies that mention the birds that use their fruits. Based on observations on three trees of this plant, this manuscript aimed to corroborate the knowledge about the birds that are attracted by this hybrid, and with the secondary purpose of encouraging the use of this plant in gardening projects. |
