Estimativa do coeficiente de carga cinética (k) em emissores online em função do índice de obstrução

Abstract

This study aims to adjust model parameters to estimate the kinetic head coefficient as a function of obstruction index, for on-line emitters. Data collection was conducted in the literature, seeking papers that presented the kinetic head coefficient (k) and geometric characteristics of on-line emitters. A model was adjusted to estimate the kinetic load coefficient as a function of the obstruction index (k(IO)). The adjusted model was compared with the literature models considering each data group. A model was set for the complete data set and cross-validation was performed. The statistical used were coefficients Camargo reliability and performance index, sum-of-squares, root mean square error. Three studies were found in the literature, totaling 51 observations, which corresponded to the necessary data, and each study presented a k(IO) model. The results of the proposed model compared to the literature models were similar. When all data were considered, the performance of the model was classified as optimal. Thus, it can be concluded that model parameters adjusted based on the literature data are an option for estimating the online emitters kinetic head coefficient in the function of obstruction index.
