A produção de textos como recurso metodológico para resolução de problemas nas aulas de química orgânica

Abstract

This work sought to analyze the presence of the STSE (Science; Tecnology; Society; Environment) approach in texts elaborated by the students of the discipline of Organic Chemistry I, of the course of Degree in Chemistry, as well as the cognitive skills developed by them throughout the discipline, through resolution of problems, which presentedfour distincts themes. Through the results, as the students advanced in the discipline, it was observed that theyprogressed in the STSE approach and in the level of the cognitive skills. The way the students solved the problems was also improved, as well as their scientific writing. Thus, the use of texts to solve problems served as a tool that enabled the teacher to analyze the difficulties manifested by the students throughout the course and provided to the classes a more problematizing character, favoring a more critical and reflective civic education.
