Abstract: | PIBID is a program that aim pre service chemistry teaching. Their actions have been consolidated since it was implemented in 2008 and is reality in various institutions of higher education in Brazil. In view of the importance of this program nationwide, is analyzed in this paper the pre service chemistry motivation of a University in Minas Gerais to admission this program as well as their expectations with respect to the contribution that for teacher training. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with twelve participants during the second semester of 2013. The results show that although some undergraduates have started the course without understanding the true role of teaching, participation in PIBID appears to be contributing to a immersion of future teachers in professional practice as well, increasing their interest in follow the teaching career. |
