A inovação ambiental em laticínios sob o olhar dos gestores

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the dairy managers’ vision operating in the Alto Paranaíba Region, Minas Gerais state, about environmental innovation in their respective industries. The data were collected through semistructured interviews and analized through content analysis. It was identified the knowledge of managers about the subject, which projects as actions aimed at this form of innovation, as barriers found in this action and the strategies to fight these barriers against environmental innovation. The evaluated dairy industries are underway, but managers have little knowledge on the subject. The managers told about that needed to hire a company specialized in environmental management to carry out environmental programs and supervision services, indicating difficulties about the internal knowledge for this form of innovation.
