dc.description.abstractFreudian psychoanalysis carries in its heart the idea that certain mnemonic inscriptions exerts great influence on behavior without consciousness having access to them. On the one hand, it is assumed that the events of childhood profoundly shape the destinies of psychological functioning and, secondly, that such marks are inaccessible as such. We will follow a few of Freud's remarks towards the establishment of the intelligibility of this twofold thesis on metapsychological level. This path will be followed under the light of some clinic phenomena that have imposed the enigma of memory: screen memory, infantile amnesia, dreams and transference.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoA psicanálise freudiana, como se sabe, carrega em seu cerne a ideia de que determinadas inscrições mnêmicas influenciam sobremodo o comportamento sem que a elas a consciência tenha acesso. Por um lado, supõe-se que, especialmente, os acontecimentos da infância marcam profundamente os destinos do funcionamento psíquico e, por outro, que essas marcas são inacessíveis enquanto tais. Acompanharemos algumas pontuações de Freud que se encaminham para o estabelecimento da inteligibilidade, no registro metapsicológico, dessa dupla tese. Isso será feito à luz de alguns dos fenômenos que impuseram, a partir da clínica, o enigma da memória: a lembrança encobridora, a amnésia infantil, o sonho e a transferência.pt_BR
