Abstract: | This investigation considered the contribution of professional reflection-oriented processes of an undergraduate Chemistry student during her education to become a Chemistry teacher. This paper aims to analyze her development in elaborating class plans considering inquiry levels of Science teaching, Scientific Literacy, and cognitive skills. The results indicated that the class plans elaborated showed improvements in most of levels analyzed due to reflections oriented by a professor in groups and individual meetings. The professional reflection-oriented process signified an important period during the future teacher education that allowed her expose and confront her conceptions and concerns, fears and dilemmas, which may have contributed to develop a critical view regarding the teaching practice. |
