Abstract: Floristic surveys are in important source of information for works in botany. Such information is indispensable besides works in taxonomy, being instruments for the documentation of the diversity, wealth and distribution of the vegetal species. Eriocaulaceae is the third family with the largest number of species in the campos rupestres. Currently, it is represented by 10 genera and about 1200 species, divided into two subfamilies. In Brazil, there are eight genera and approximately 630 species. This work aims to carry out the taxonomic treatment of the Eriocaulaceae species found in the campos rupestres of the Complexo de Serras da Bocaina e de Carrancas. This site is located in the mesoregion of Campo das Vertentes, Minas Gerais, cutting the municipalities of Lavras, Itumirim, Itutinga and Carrancas. The expeditions for collection were punctual and complementary, prioritizing the saws with few visits made and, consequently, few collections of specimens. The collected material will be incorporated into the collection of the Herbarium of the Universidade Federal de Lavras – ESAL. Morphological descriptions, taxonomic comments, geographic distribution data, identification keys for the recognition of genera and species, and photos will be available at the end of the work. Six genera (Actinocephalus, Comanthera, Eriocaulon, Leiothrix, Paepalanthus e Syngonanthus) and 18 species (A. polyanthus, C. centauroides, C. eleganthula, C. nivea, E. crassiscapum, E. elichrysoides, L. flavescens, L. prolifera, P. aequalis, P. calvus, P. elongatus, P. mollis var. mollis, P. planifolius, P. subtilis, P. trichophyllus, S. caulescens, S. gracilis e S. nitens) of Eriocaulaceae are found in the campos rupestres of the Complexo da Bocaina e de Carrancas, with Paepalanthus being the most representative, with seven species. With this study, we hope to broaden the knowledge about the Eriocaulaceae mineiras, especially those occurring in campos rupestres located in the mesoregion of Campo das Vertentes.
