Abstract: | It is noted that people see more and more priority the quality of life in their workplace, and that at the same time there are indicators and factors that help to evaluate the work environment and the people who work in it. In this article, we will discuss the factors related to quality of life at work (QWL): work purpose, autonomy and development opportunities, moral rectitude, relationship with colleagues and superiors, recognition, work safety, physical load, load mental and emotional load. Data were collected through a questionnaire composed of scales to identify said factors, which was sent via Survey Monkey to university professors from ten federal higher education institutions in the Southeast, Midwest and Federal District. After downloading, the data were analyzed through SPSS software version 21. After the analysis it was noticed that there are significant correlations between the factors of QVT and that were found significant differences of averages for the perception of male and female teachers with relation the physical, mental and emotional work load. In sum, we can say that the results found in this sample of teachers from the federal universities of Brazil offer information consistent with the Systemic Model of QVT and that the forms of work organization offer subsidies to identify and analyze the factors of QVT. |
