Sistema agroindustrial das olerícolas congeladas: a coordenação entre o olereicultor e a agroindústria do congelamento

Abstract

The main point ofthis work was the analysis and comprehension ofthe coordination in the Agroindustrial System ofFrozen Vegetables (ASFV), based on the transactions occured in the principie technologically distinguishable interfaces. For this the systemic vision supported by the transaction cost economics to identify the determinam factors of the difFerent structures sustenance ofthe transaction by a minimizing cost in focus. From this, two hypothesis were developed for guidance: the first is that the leadership in the progress is associated to a major structure specific actors sustained by more complex governance structures; the second hypothesis says that the specificity assets has a significative influence on the governance structures estabhshed. The work was developed through semi-structured interviews apply to the businessman of the five firms that composes the processment in the ASFV. After this, a questionnaire was applied with the intention to gather the data referents to the dimension parameters of the transactions involving fourteen species of vegetables. The analysis and comprehension ofthe ASFV was based on discrete structural analysis, by the alignment ofthe determinant factors ofthe difFerent governance factors and the difFerentiated competencies to support the transactions. The study view that exists problems in ali the actors of the ASFV reducing it's competitivity, but the central problem ofthe ASFV is the specific investments necessary to deal with retail segment. Due to the reestructuration of the retail sesment through management and technological innovations, the responsability of the logistic distribution and reposition ofthe product are dislocating to the processor. With this the first hypotheses is accepted for the leader firm ofthe processment segment presents the investments in especific assets inside the hierarchical governance structure (more complex). In the study ofthe transaction dimensions paremeters related to the specific assets (human specificity - ekh and technical assitance specificity - eat) were inducers ofthe different governance structures.
