Curvas de desempenho motor de um trator agrícola utilizando diferentes proporções de biodiesel de soja

Abstract

The energy crisis associated with the increased demand for fuels and increasing concern about environment have led to search for alternative sources of energy. Moreover, the entrance of highly competitive new equipment and agricultural machines in terms of cost have attracted the interest of farmers. However, such equipment, due to recent insert in the market, still don’t present reliability parameters. So, this paper is a dynamometric essay of a 204 Green horse agricultural tractor PTO, in order to obtain its performance curves, using as fuel mixtures of mineral diesel and biodiesel from soybeans in B2, B5, B20 and B100 proportions. The results showed that the tractor presented motor acting compatible with other models used in the country, presenting the best acting with the use of the fuel B5. Keywords: Biofuel.
