Resumo: | Acid soils account for 50% of the world's potentially arable soils. In this type of soil the main problems encountered are the high concentration of Al and the low availability of P. Therefore, this work aimed to contribute with studies in a model plant, Populus spp., and tolerant plants, Eucalyptus spp., related to Al and P stress mechanisms. In the combined stress of Al and P it was observed that the majority of the genes associated to a stress presents negative correlation with that from the other, being only 8 genes influenced by both stresses of similar form. In Populus, 20 members of the ALMT family and 56 members of the MATE family were identified, and of these, 13 and 36 members, respectively, presented a correlation with each other. Of those genes, PoptrALMT10 and PoptrMATE54, the main members related to Al stress, in phosphorus stress did not present any common genes in the leaf and only 3 in the root, in contrast, under Al stress these two genes shared 35 genes. In E. grandis, 58 members of the MATE family were identified, of which 43 were correlated with other members and 15 were involved in more specific routes. In E. urophylla on Al stress, anatomical changes were demonstrated in both root and leaf, and the Eucgr.A02386 gene responded quickly to stress, but at lower intensity while Eucgr.J00768 showed late and more intense expression, both genes encode MATE proteins located in the vacuole. |
