Abstract: | The objective of this work was to evaluate the inoculation of native arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in the field in the quality and production of different sugarcane cultivars. The experimental design was a randomized complete block design with 6 x 2 x 3 plots, with six cane cultivars (CTC1, CTC7, CTC9, CTC16, SP89-1115 and RB925345) with and without inoculation of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi , three harvests and three replicates. Phosphate adduction at planting was reduced to 50% of the recommended dose for the crop according to soil analysis. Microbiological attributes (mycorrhizal colonization and spore density), agronomic characteristics (stem height, stalk diameter, stalk number per linear meter, mean stalk mass) and the technological characteristics: soluble solids content (Brix), percentage (Pol), total recoverable sugar (ATR), tons of Pol per hectare (TPH) and tons of sugar cane per hectare (TCH) obtained in the 2014 harvest 2015, 2015/2016 and 2016/2017. In most of the analyzed variables, the inoculated treatments were those that presented the best means and the cultivar CTC9 was the one that presented the best responses to inoculation of FMAs, proving that this practice can be an ecologically and economically viable alternative for the producer. |
