Estratégia e administração pública: o caso do programa "choque de gestão" do Governo do Estado De Minas Gerais

Abstract

This paper aims to analyse the construction of strategies in public sector organizations. Thus, it’s presented the Minas Gerais State program experience, namely “Choque de Gestão” that constitutes an innovative experience of strategic management in the public sector, especially when it contributes to the reorganization and modernization of the public government and management. This refers to an understanding of strategic management as a starting point for the construction of broader public management possibilities, influencing the results and the objectives achieved, and, ultimately, in a perspective of sustainable socioeconomic development over time.
