Abstract: | This work describes the analysis of an electronic portal or website (INTERATIVO!) for the chemistry teachers continuous education, available in the internet, developed by the Division of Teaching of the Brazilian Society of Chemistry. Considering such virtual environments as cultural texts that they materialize discourses and are constituted through different semiotic modes woven in hipertextual language. Using the bakhtinian concepts of dialogism and polyphony, we analyzed the text of the Interativo! trying to characterize its discursive heterogeneity. Another aspect of the analysis concentrated on the investigation of the navigation possibilities and available resources to the teachers. Our results revealed that, although the website’s design does not explore the potential of the hypermedia systems, it brings together discourses emphasize teachers’ roles and practical knowledge as well as the contribution of research in Chemical Education. |
