Processos de educação ambiental: estudos da importância dos insetos junto ao núcleo comunitário mãos em arte – COMBEM, em Lavras, Minas Gerais

Abstract

Considering the importance of this large group of arthropods, the insects, to the environment, we started this project. The project was conducted at the “Conselho Municipal para o Bem Estar do Menor (COMBEM)”, Lavras, MG, aiming to show to the children the general characteristics of the insects, the importance of these arthropods, beyond implementation of recreational activities. The work was performed once a week with children aged between 8 and 13 years. What was lived during this work could be described like both learn, that is very important for our growing like humans.
