Resumo: This research is based on decades of experience in the area of Education. Initially in teaching, I worked at all levels of Basic Education. During this time, I began working as an education specialist, where I have been working to this day. I have also worked in the clinical environment of Psychopedagogy for fourteen years. The significant paradigm shift occurred through specializations related to human learning, with a focus on Neuropsychopedagogy; from a focus on learning difficulties to a new perspective on the potential of the learner. Bringing scientific robustness to the professional experiences listed and presenting possibilities for bringing Neuroscience and Education closer together, a historical report on Neuroscience was written, highlighting the impacts that the “Decade of the Brain” contributed to the visibility of this area around the world. In Brazil, some of the paths taken between Neuroscience and Education were analyzed, as well as disagreements and some agreements between the two throughout this historical journey. The narrative review of the theoretical framework indicated the theoretical bases for structuring the proposal for the teacher training course, making it possible to extract from this work the scientific productions that presented elements that could substantially contribute to the production of a teacher training course on human learning, an object of study in Education and Neuroscience. And the studies presented are based on the results of research by a pedagogue with professional experience and a researcher in Neuroscience, who points out possibilities of collaboration between Education and Neuroscience and the rapprochement between these two sciences. Based on the research carried out, an Educational Product was structured in the form of elementary school teachers, from a state school located in the south of the state of Minas Gerais, with the functioning of the central nervous system: the learning process; neuromyths; the development of pedagogical strategies and diverse methodologies, facilitating the effectiveness of the construction of knowledge by the student. The educational product concludes the scientific work, with the proposal of a “Continuing Education Course for Elementary School Teachers”.
