Abstract: | Volleyball is a sport that provides social interaction among its practitioners, developing the physical capabilities such as agility, strength, speed. It can also be worked playfully causing, being a team sport, improved motor skills of children and their skills. Perhaps for these reasons it will be offered quite frequently in physical education classes. In Lavras/MG, a survey was conducted to verify the way the Volleyball is taught in class and analyze the intent of the teacher to apply it as part of their didactic way beyond being applied and which school (primary or secondary). The study was conducted through a survey in 25 public and private schools of the municipality cited. These schools were made semi-structured interviews with teachers of Physical Education of high school and fundamental, that listed the goal of Volleyball as educational content. With this, it is observed that the use of Volleyball is very common in physical education classes in schools surveyed and in all the classes is taught Volleyball playfully aiming the physical well being of students. Since sports are related to the numerous benefits linked to their practice, research stands the promotion and maintenance of health and socialization of students as key points cited by teachers. |
