Supervisor educacional: articulador da educação de qualidade

Abstract

This work aims at studying the actuation of the pedagogical supervisor as the one who articulates the quality of education. The direction given to the discussion is situated on the sphere of the difficulties, threats and progresses referring to the work of this professional in the scholar institutions. Starting from a bibliographical study and from an interview with a professional of the area, it was possible to find out that the pedagogical supervisor is responsible to operate with a group of educators, by coordinating and promoting reflection, so as to consider the construction of collective teacher competence, with the objective to reach the quality in the process of teaching and learning. This way, the difficulties and threats in this area are innumerous, but with research and professionalism one may reach exponential improvements for the quality of the educational process.
