Mapeamento dos grupos de pesquisa em tecnologias no esporte no Brasil

Abstract

The objective of this study was to locate Research Groups on Sports Technologies in Brazil, to know how to distribute geographically in the national territory and to map what has been producing. For this, a systematic search was made in the Research Groups Directory of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), using the Snowball methodological technique, on the topic Technologies in Sport. It was observed that there was an increase in the number of Research Groups in Sports Technologies, between 1995 to 2017. Six Research Groups were found distributed between the Southeast (n = 4) and South (n = 2) regions, which develop 29 lines of research, 16 of which are specific to the research line in Sports Technologies. Therefore, there is a centralization of the development of Research Groups in Sports Technologies in the Southeast and South regions of Brazil, as well as the Research Groups Directory of CNPq showed to be an important tool in the preservation of the memory of the Brazilian scientific-technological activity.
