| Resumo: | Nowadays, technological developments have made possible the articulation of different modes of representation on the same surface, and the texts have presented, in their constitution, several semiotic resources, which has re-dimensioned questions about reading and reading skills. In this article, we discuss about multimodality and its impacts on literacy practices, from the analysis of the modes of representation of the language that constitute the comic strip and cartoon genres. It seeks to understand how these different ways are articulated with a view to contribute to the construction of meaning, as well as reflect on multimodal literacy and current practices of reading and writing in society |
