Controle de Meloidogyne incognita raça 1 com óleo essencial de Lippia alba

Abstract

The objective of this research was evaluated the effect of essential oils of Lippia alba in six concentrations (0; 4, 8, 16 e 20 µL mL-1) on hatching of mortality second-stage juveniles (J2) in vitro of Meloidogyne incognita race 1. The experiment was conducted in completely randomized design with eight repetitions and repeated once. The concentration of 20 µL mL-1 of oil resulted in 98,91% mortality of the second-stage juveniles (J2) the Meloidogyne incognita race 1 and was significantly higher than in other concentrations. The hatching rate decreased significantly from the concentration of 4 µL mL-1 of oil. The percentage of mortality of J2 hatched was 96,39% at a concentration of 12-20 µL mL-1 of oil. The oil of Lippia alba showed nematicidal activity in vitro in M. incognita race 1.
