| Resumo: | This paper aims to present a reflection about two contemporary political philosophy conceptions. Both of them – egalitarian liberalism and communitarianism - try to solve the problem of moral conflicts in nowadays societies. This debate started in Theory of Justice written by John Rawls and published in 1971. Taking into account this scenario, this article analysis, firstly, the conceptions of fairness and the good that Rawls develops in his piece. In the second part, his view will be compared to communitarianism. |
