dc.description.resumoThis project aimed at presenting an alternative proposal for teaching positional spatial geometry, since it is an important content for acquiring competencies which will aid the student in all his life. The project was based on a bibliographical research, initiated with the analysis of the history of teaching geometry, the current national curriculum and a few didactic books adopted in high school. The teaching/learning process in constant transformation forces the teacher to look for new means which lead the students to acquiring the proposed abilities. In order to teach positional spatial geometry we propose the use of concrete materials and technological resources, such as the Wingeom educational software and the Gemp game software, the last being idealized by the authors of this project. The central idea of this project is to develop visualization capacity and spatial orientation. With this project, we expect that teaching positional spatial geometry becomes more efficient and dynamic, leading the student to understanding it in acquiring new knowledge.pt_BR
